PEAK 2010

I rode in the van with the guys and the chaperons... this is what it looked like :) **laughs & giggles** It was an easy trip down there though; didn't have to worry about any pranks!
We got there and hour and a half too early - some of us in our seats..... Though the place was HUGE there were a lot of people there (3500+ people is what I heard, but not for sure), so it was sometimes hard to get a good seat. Bro Westley Jackson and Bro Cody Marks did and AWESOME job. Those were my two favorite messages of the meeting. We weren't there for the first night when Bro Tim Pixlar was there though.
Aubrey, Me, & Brooke at the lock-in...... It was late and I was sooo tired!... but if I remember right; I ended up going back to the hotel and stayed up with Jackie at the pool area goofing around :). Our hotel rooms had glass sliding doors to the pool. We mostly hung out there, day and night.  That is until "Hairy Woman," "Tan Potato Man," and "Blubber Hulk Man" over took the pool.... **GAG**  YUCK!  Haha it was a great time.
The girls' table at Cheddar's (SAY YUM!) They make a GREAT mushroom/provolone burger!

The below picture is of Alexis (Lexie-poo) my Best Friend! She is an awesome girl who loves God, (has awesome style LOL) has been there for me, and loves to have fun!...& for those who are wondering; she isn't single!!! HA- imagine that would you?! :) Anyway, I wish she lived here because I miss her! Good friends are hard to find.... She is definitely special to me ~ Love her bunches and bunches.

100TH POST ~ FAMILY

Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever become a blogger type of person... Though, maybe I have since this is my 100th post!
Wow ~ life is seeming to be going by so very quickly! Although a wise man once said:
"Time is what prevents everything from happening at once."
Though lately it seems as if much is happening at once...HA! - Too much maybe. Though being bored isn't too great either; so I'm not complaining!
A subject that has been "chewing" over on me lately is: FAMILY
1~Family - VS - Friends
2~Family - VS - God/Faith/Truth
3~Family - VS - The "right" thing
I am big on having real family in ones life.
FAM-I-LY
NOUN
definitions:
1. A group of relatives; a group of people; who are closely related by birth, marriage, or adoption...
2. A group of people living together; a group of people functioning together, usually consisting of parents and their children...
3. A group with something in common; a group who's members are related in origin, character or occupation...
Could also be referred to as:
relatives
relations
folks
kin
children
family unit
extended family
clan
nearest and dearest
loved ones
kinfolk
lineage
line
family tree
blood
type
kind
group
category
Even as much as we are "related" and as much as we dearly love our families; they are humans, and so are we. We cannot expect more then what we are able to do ourselves. So what do we do when circumstances arise and we have to choose...? What do we do then?
Family VS ________ (fill in the blank)
*Do we choose family so that we have someone on our side for later on if things arise against us, (the old cliche` blood runs thicker then water)?
*Do we side with neither but fight with our family?
*Do we choose the side of whomever/whichever is right?
What???
I think it depends on the level of seriousness the issue is on. That right there is a tough-ie also... How does one judge "seriousness?"
It isn't like there is a ruler with a color coded measuring devise, to show you where everything in life lies, on the scale of serious! Everyone is very different in their own way, and has different opinions about many things in life. What one might consider to be serious, may not be to someone else... even in a family.
Also, I think it depends on how you choose to live your life. No matter if you live on the right side, left side, the calmer and peaceful side, or the exciting and fast side. Either way, it could become a tough decision for one to make.
Though it is interesting the decisions people make when it comes to their families.... Not letting themselves see black and white because of love.... Letting the line blur into a grey mess... And being dissatisfied, feeling guilty, and miserable because they didn't make the right choice.
THAT'S WHY....
It is important to
~Pray, and pray in the HOLY GHOST!
~Fast
~Read the Holy Bible, God's Word to us
~Listen to your Man of God
~Be a DOER and a HEARER of the preached word
~Ask God to lead, and guide you, and direct your steps

The iGirl

I saw this and thought it was too cute not to post!
This is who I am...
The iGirl

...Thoughts:)

Struggle
A wise man once said:

"When you're struggling with something,
look around
at all the people around you
and realize
that every single person you see
is struggling with something;
and to them
it's just as hard
as what you're going through."

You are never alone...
Even if you feel as though you are
God will never leave or forsake you.
He is always right beside you
To catch you when you start to fall
To hold you when you're hurting
To wipe your tears away
To celebrate when something is being celebrated
To correct you when in need of correction
To lead and guide you through the straight and narrow paths
To bless your soul when you are in need of a blessing

Sometimes you might feel like what you are going through is much too tough and impossible.
"Impossible is not a word, but a reason for one not to try."
With God, ALL things ARE possible...
NOTHING is impossible with God.

There will always be a mountain to climb,
Or a valley to fall into.
So stand up,
Face the music,
And live like there is no tomorrow.
Because you never know
...there may not be a tomorrow.

This year was an AWESOME camp! The church services were by far the best yet. Every message was just for me (it felt like it anyway). I definitely made new friends and can't wait for the new adventures we will journey together.
Will post more about camp later on....
