"You Are More"

Just thought I'd share this. It goes along with what Bro Stewart has been preaching.

Yes I may have never poked drugs through a needle in my arm... Yes I may have never been involved in adultry... Yes, I may still be pure... Yes, I go to church faithfully...

BUT we are ALL humans who make mistakes and bad choices... SIN IS SIN. It doesn't matter what it is - it is all the same to Jesus not matter how big or small society judges it (If they judge it at all).

So therefore I can judge you for something "big" you have done but I'm no better because I have sinned also. Does that give us a permit to do whatever we want and say "Oh God will forgive me." NO SIR! We must strive toward perfection..... and yet, God's mercies are new every morning ... and THAT my friend is A>M>A>Z>I>N>G!!!!!

Perfection

So I've been thinking on "perfection" a lot lately; I guess you could say it's mostly because I'm trying my best to be a musician.

As a musician I am practicing to get things down just right... learning new tricks and songs... wondering how much it would change the way a song feels if I tweaked it here and added there.... and so on. Although mostly, I've been thinking about perfection in the "for-real-no-sugar-coating-no-adding-no-taking-away-without-a-shadow-of-a-doubt-in-my-mind" LIFE of humans.

For some reason we have this thing inside of us that tries to self-justify all of our actions and reactions. Most of the time no matter how wrong we are ((AND BE HONEST WE CAN ALL BE WRONG! YES, EVEN ME, AND YES, EVEN YOU! YES, THAT IS RIGHT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US, BABY)....that is unless your are part beast with orangatang-like hair all over)), we always try to blame all of it on another. Though I do understand that there are times when it's not a 50/50 fault situation... sometimes it's 30/70 due to personality and other things. Even with that, you still have the 30% fault though.

This one thing I know for sure though; if you aren't willing to take responsibility for your own actions and reactions.... No matter how tough, great, invincible, and on top of the world you may think you are: then you better take another look at the one in the mirror. Something is NOT okay. Before too long... You little castle will be tumbling down like Mr Humpty Dumpty and crash at the bottom. That is just how things work on planet earth. The diagnosis for this crazy mishap is spelled like this:

I guess what I was trying to say though all of this is... NO ONE IS PERFECT! But we should be striving to perfection. Pride is something that will keep you from getting there. So you might as well just take what you are responsible for not matter how hard it might be to chew 'n' swallow; and move on. Even if other people that are involved don't - You just push to the next level and be the bigger person! :)


PS ~ AND GUESS WHAT?! That include the person whom you may think is "good-as-gold," your best friend for life, your partner, your side-kick, your ole' faithful secretary... They are human and will make misteaks... Keep that in the back of your Grey Matter!

Happy In Jesus

So we have been in revival with Bro Don Stewart... :) and it has been really awesome!
Special move of God.
I think the older I get the more I realize how much a person needs to go to church... but more then that, one really, really, REALLY needs to have HOLY GHOST CHURCH! And that, my friends is what we have been having!!!
2 MORE GOT THE HOLY GHOST TONIGHT!!!!!
Baptizing them in the name of Jesus tomorrow night...
So far there are 7 or 8 that have gotten the Holy Ghost in DIGGINS :)
Thank God for His mercy and grace.
Jesus knows just what I need, when I need it.
He has NEVER EVER failed me.
He is the BEST THING that has ever happened to me.
People Fail.
I Fail because I am human, but HE never fails; and is there to catch me when I'm falling. I'm so thankful to be the Princess of the King of Kings!  Like one songwriter once said....

COURAGE

‎Courage is not the absence of fear.
No, definitely not! 
It is the ability to control fear and do what you have to do in spite of it.
AND
If you have faith in the One who calls you to a task, you just do it and trust that He'll get you out of a jam.
Just because you are afraid, that does not mean you have no courage!
Everyone is afraid when they take that first step.
Though, when you do step out in faith and take the step, even though you are scared to death on the inside....
And your body is shaking in pure terror of everything you are about to do....
That, my friend is COURAGE!

Kerrie Roberts- No Matter What

This is sorta how I'm feeling. Not too worried, because in the end HE DOES ALL THINGS WELL! :) I am SO VERY blessed! He makes the most beautiful master pieces out of the worst messes. He created it all, so I'm going to trust that He can keep it all in control also! He is soooo good! I'm full and running over with JOY!
