Thankful...

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and I have so much to be thankful for.

Through life's unexpected turns and twist, there is always sun shining through the clouds and into my life. Not sure how this manages to happen to me, since I'm not the most perfect girl in the world, but I'm very thankful.

Jesus has been so good to me, all of my life. He has never let me down, he is my best friend ever! He has given me good health.  I can walk on my own two feet, have a mouth to talk,  can see, can hear, and have full usage of both hands.

My parents are the best... Always listening and helping me... I'm thankful Jesus let me be born in my family, at this time on earth, and I'm going to live this one life I have to the best of my ability!

"What good is chance... not taken?
What good is life... not living?
What good is love... not given?
So here goes nothing, Here goes everything!....."

Some might say I'm weird, I just say I'm happy! I'm thankful for the mountains, because they make me stronger. Yes, I get tired, but if I can just push a little more I'll reach my goal.

I'm thankful to live in America. Yes, there are lots of problems with this country, but it is still the best right now. I'm thankful for all the men and women who are serving or who have served for this nation.

I'm thankful to know truth, and not be in religion, but have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for my Pastor and his stand.

I'm thankful for those special people in my life, who are there for me, bring sunshine, listens, and are helping make me who I am and to one day be a better person.

I guess mostly, I'm thankful for the REAL things in life.... the little things that get overlooked, they actually matter the most. Material things, are great, but they come and go and can be replaced.
